A moderate intensity earthquake on Saturday jolted Swabi and
adjoining areas in Mardan dist
rict. According to the seismological report, the intensity
of tremors recorded 3.9-magnitude on the Richter

of tremors was recor
ded on 4.7 magnitude at Richter scale, according to a seismological report. The earthquake tremors were felt across Mingora town and
adjoining areas at 6:14am. The depth of the quake was 110 kilometres with epicentre in the mountain range in the border area of Afghanistan and Tajikistan, according to seismological reports.
