ISLAMABAD: Qatar on Tuesday appreciated Pakistan’s efforts and positive role it played for regional peace and stability, particularly in Afghanistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, who is in Doha, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al Thani thanked Pakistan’s leadership for its continued support towards a ne
gotiated political settlement for peace in Afghanistan. Both the sides also discussed measures to enhance bilateral security cooperation.
